The perfect complement

BioPath® is a biological fertilizer complement formulated with proven strains of PGPR that increases nutrient availability, uptake, and utilization—improving early-season plant growth and vigor and optimizing crop yield potential.

Including BioPath in early-season fertilizer applications improves nutrient use efficiency during the pivotal developmental period before pollination and grain fill.

Increases nutrient availability

The select strains of Bacillus in BioPath produce organic acids and enzymes that improve the solubilization of fertilizer into plant-available forms. More availability of nutrients can increase nutrient uptake, improving overall plant growth and vigor.

Facilitates efficient nutrient uptake and utilization

BioPath supports microbes that produce plant growth-promoting compounds essential for root development. A healthier, more robust root system enables more efficient nutrient absorption, leading to stronger plants and higher yield potential.

Improves plant health and yield potential

BioPath helps harness nutrients so that plants have the nutrition they need at peak uptake times throughout the season. Better nutrient efficiency combined with more vigorous early-season plant growth can increase the return on fertilizer investments and optimize yield potential.

“We started using biologicals to push the envelope on yields, but if they can work with our fertility program and help us be more efficient with our fertilizer, that’s good.”

- Ryan Drozd from Drozd Family Grain in Allegan, MI

Proven technology

BioPath helps harness nutrients so that plants have the nutrition they need at peak uptake times throughout the season. Better nutrient efficiency combined with more vigorous early-season plant growth can increase the return on fertilizer investments and optimize yield potential.

Easy to store and use

The formulation is easy to store, with no special storage conditions and shelf life up to 24 months.
BioPath can be pre-blended with liquid fertilizers or easily tank-mixed and applied at plant, sidedress, topdress, or through fertigation.

Rigorous testing

BioPath and PowerCoat have been extensively tested in a variety of crops and field environments with consistent performance.

Adding BioPath to a fertilizer program helps ensure that nutrients are accessible and plant-available ahead of critical plant uptake periods. BioPath makes soil and fertilizer work harder allowing crops to grow stronger, increasing ROFI and overall profitability with a yield advantage ROI of over 3 to 1.

Proven BioPath Benefits

Increased Nutrient Uptake

• Broad spectrum nutrient uptake performance—macro and micronutrients.

• Research shows improved early-season plant vigor and growth coupled with better nutrient availability can increase nutrient uptake.

Nutrient uptake data reflects the average difference of 325 corn plants across 12 locations. Total nutrient uptake = biomass x nutrient concentration. Additional nutrient utilization calculated using typical corn fertilizer rates in the USA (180 N, 90 P, 160 K) multiplied by the treatment effect increases in total nutrient uptake. BioPath applied 16 fl oz/A with sidedress nitrogen.

Return on Fertilizer Investment (ROFI)

• Broad-spectrum, season-long nutrient efficiency performance—macro and micronutrients.

• Research proves increased nutrient uptake lends to a higher ROFI and optimizes yield.

Additional investment utilized by multiplying the increase in nutrient utilized times the cost of nutrients today. Nitrogen $ utilized calculated using UAN32 $513/ton, Phosphorus $ utilized calculated using MAP $810/ton, Potassium $ utilized calculated using Potash $644/ton. Fertilizer prices.
